Profile of the trade fair
The acqua alta exhibition is linked to the conference in spatial conditions and content. It brings together exhibitors, trade and congress visitors and presents the current trends and best practise examples from industry, research and development. Politicians, economists, scientists and representatives from cities and municipalities come tohether in the CCH - Congress Center Hamburg to get informed and discuss about the latest developments and strategies in a whole range of issues linked to climate.
The trade fair is structured in five exhibition areas, each of them adjoining the central zone, that is the Open Space - Exhibitor Forum. That provides space for direct contact between exhibitors, conference participants and trade fair visitors.
The acqua alta exhibition comprises the following areas
• Flood protection and coastal protection
• Risk and disaster management
• Hydro power, barrages and dams
• Climate consequences, environmental protection and water management
• Research, development and services
Each of these areas is clearly marked by means of colour coding.
That helps trade visitors to get their bearings at the fair, quickly finding the areas of special interest to them.
Exhibitors will benefit from a high level of expertise of the visitors in their areas.
Open Space - Exhibitor Forum
The Open Space - Exhibitor Forum is the central presentation forum in the middle of acqua alta, bringing together all five exhibition areas and the acqua alta conference. It facilitates exchanges between exhibitors, trade fair visitors and conference delegates.
The Open Space - Exhibitor Forum showcases Best Practice and exhibitor presentations, giving the ideal practical addition to the presentations of the acqua alta conference. It is the area for direct discussion of the latest developments and strategies between business experts, academics, politicians and trade visitors. This direct contact is also promoted by guided tours of the exhibition.
