Air travel
Hamburg Airport has 69 airlines operating flights direct to 18 national destinations and 98 international destinations. The Airport is located in the Northern part of the city, in the district of Fuhlsbüttel. You can find your flight connection on the Hamburg Airport website or use our flight search.
Travel from the airport to the Hamburg Fair site is by S-Bahn (rapid transit train), Line S1, which takes about 25 minutes; or by taxi, which takes about 20 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
To CCH by S-Bahn (Suburban Railway)
Route:
From the airport please take the S1 (leading towards Wedel) to Hamburg Hauptbahnhof (central train station). Once you have arrived at the train station you switch to the S21 or S31 on the opposite rail track. The next station will be Bahnhof Dammtor, there you get off and reach the CCH in a shortwalking distance.
Traveling time:
Traveling from the airport to the main entrance of CCH takes approx. 25 minutes.
